Teaching staff: Alfonso Fuente García and Luis Miguel Ramos Prieto , Industrial Engineers with more than ten years of experience in the drafting of steel structure projects within the industrial sector.

Teaching experience at the University of León. Direction of projects of steel structures of great importance.

Experience in the elaboration of steel structure courses.
Targets:
At the end of the course students will have acquired the necessary skills to design steel structures according to the criteria of the EAE instruction (regulations of compulsory compliance in the industrial sector and civil engineering). The EAE incorporates the novelties introduced in the European regulations and equates, for regulatory purposes, concrete and steel in the construction of structures.

Students will know the basic design process of a steel structure, reinforcing the knowledge of the choice of structural systems and structural elements, for each project situation.
