Targets:

Analyze the regulations on emergency lighting.

Analyze the applicable legislation on energy efficiency in emergency lighting.

New technologies to efficiently justify legislation.

Analysis of the basic concepts about maintenance in emergency lighting.

Contents: Brief review on regulations. Minimum levels of lighting. Legislation on energy efficiency.

Efficient lighting through LED. Use of different types of optics. Symmetric and asymmetric lenses, reflectors.

Lighting from the ceiling or from the wall. Interchangeable LED module (ILMLED), light guide panel (LGPLED) and LED array (LMSLED). Safety signage, lighting requirements.

Efficiency in battery charging systems. New technologies in electronics and batteries.

Computer tools developed by Daisalux, Daisa v6, to accurately measure the values established by the regulations. (Software guaranteed by the APTB Association of Firefighter Technical Professionals).

Use and management of the calculation program in different practical cases.

Effective maintenance in emergency lighting. Tools UNE-EN-50172. Analysis of the norm. System and software for maintenance management. Daisatest system. Communication technology through BUS and wireless technology.
