Teaching staff: | The Dynamind - Dynamic Mind team, which has extensive experience in educational robotics and science and technology activities for young people. Our team consists of educators, pedagogues, psychologists and engineers in order to offer the highest educational quality, both in content and in the capacity of dissemination and teaching of them. Our method based on project learning ensures that students learn while they are doing well, and keep this knowledge for much longer. In addition, all the didactic contents are developed by our company and adapted to the needs, capacities and requirements of the students of the Tarragonès. Our experience, working now with more than 50 schools and 2000 students, guarantees us. |
Targets: | ![]() This training activity brings new technologies closer to younger students in order to understand how they work and how they are programmed, by introducing them into digital programming environments adapted to their age. The objectives of the course are: • Know the functioning of the technologies that surround us. • Develop digital creativity and digital competences or 2.0. • Have fun while learning how to program a robot or a small video game. • Develop logical and computational thinking. • Solve problems with digital channels. |
Contents: | Proposed activities for children from 7 to 10/11 years old (primary): 1st Day Experimental workshops Through the open resolution of problems, a morning full of experiments is proposed, starting with an initial situation where the basic principles of physics or chemistry are introduced. It works based on the scientific method, by hypothesis and testing through the results of the experimentation. 2nd day Robotics with LEGO WeDo LEGO WeDo is an interesting solution for recreational initiation in the robotics of Primary school children. Children will experience through the construction and programming of various models. The potential of this material lies in the possibilities of designing and exploring the physical elements and the programming applied to a physical object through a visual and intuitive programming language. All projects are specifically designed by the Dynamind team. 3rd Day DIY workshop We will set up a marine theme. The structure will be made of cardboard and we will make the electrical connections to put LED lights. You can take home creation. 4th day Programming In these activities, children will experience in different programming environments. The objective is to introduce students into the essential structures of the visual programming language so they can make their own digital productions. Proposed activities for children from 10/11 to 16 years old (high school): 1st Day 3D design and printing Different graphic design programs will be presented and the differences and the best use of each one of them will be valued according to the project you want to make. A three-dimensional graphic design program (3D) allows you to create different types of pieces and figures. In order to acquire these concepts, students will present several basic exercises that will be complemented by a final integrating project. Finally print it. 2nd day Robotics with mBot We will do a robot competition with mBot and control the robot for Bluetooth from your computer. mBot is a robot based on Arduino technology and can be programmed with mBlock, software derived from Scratch. Contains motors and sensors integrated in its plate. 3rd Day Programming a simple video game Schedule your own video game with Scratch and move your video game with Makey-Makey. In this activity, young people will learn to program their own video games using simple, but very powerful language, such as Scratch. To achieve this we will follow a very practical methodology: we will program step by step and from zero different classic video games, and with the development of each game we will know new elements that appear in all the videojuegos, like movements, collisions, randomness. Thus, at the end of the course they will be able to program all kinds of platform games, "marcianets", graphic adventures, simulations ... 4th day Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms With LEGO Mindstorms, younger people will experience through the programming of sensors. Witnessing and teamwork will be the key to overcoming the different challenges that we will propose. The activity will conclude with the competition of the different robots through the monitoring of different lines of colors. |
