| Presentation: | The 30/2015 auto-protection decree dated March 3, modifies the catalog of activities and centers obliged to take self-protection measures and fixes the content of these measures, and also states that self-protection plans can be drafted exclusively accredited technicians for this purpose. There are two levels of accreditation: - BASIC "local level": allows the AUTOPROTECTION PLANS that the decree collects in this category, which are activities of lower risk, by occupation or by type of activity, and that evaluates and approves the same City Council . - The SUPERIOR "in the sphere of Catalonia": it covers all other activities with a more general scope of impact, due to the risk they pose, or the employment they have. These self-protection plans are evaluated by the Directorate General for Civil Protection and approves the Commission for the Civil Protection of Catalonia Any person with a university degree can access this training, although the nature of the work that is being developed, or decline to technicians in the field of construction or industrial. |
| Requirements: | The department requires, apart from the diploma ensuring that the course has been approved, a university degree. At the end of the course, the COAATT as the accredited center for the provision of courses for technicians qualified in self-protection plans will issue, as appropriate, a diploma in order to request accreditation in the interior department. The admission of the course will be by strict order of registration, and will be carried out with a minimum of 5 students. |
| Teaching staff: | The tutor of the course is Mr. Joan Carles Francès Tudel , graduate in geography and technician in civil protection. |
| Methodology: | Each level will consist of an introductory session, and the corresponding modules of theoretical tracking content online. Once each module has been completed, a self-evaluation must be carried out to know the acquired knowledge, and a practical exercise. At the end of each level, the realization of the practical exercises that have been done with each module will help us to compose a final work that is a self-protection plan. The introductory sessions will be held at the COAATT facilities. They will last for two hours and are compulsory. As of that moment the modules will be opened correlatively, every week. At the end of each level there will be an exam that will be done in person. Once the exam is over, the final work can be delivered. For each approved level a diploma with which you can access the accreditation will be delivered. Throughout the period you can contact the tutor or the administrator, via email to resolve doubts, and do tutorials for the development of the project. |
