Contents:

Energy efficiency in buildings is a priority within
Energy policies of the EU, which has driven a package
of legislative measures to achieve the objectives on
Energy and climate change assumed for 2020, 2030 and 2050.
Thus, they are the European Energy Efficiency Directives
(2012/27 / EU) and Energy Efficiency in Buildings (2010/31 / EU)

a certificate of energy efficiency, and that all states
Members must adopt policies and plans to achieve them

Following these Directives, in Catalonia from June 1
of 2013 it is mandatory to have the energy certificate for the
Buildings and existing homes that are rented or sold,
