Targets:

The aim of this course is for the student to gain an extensive knowledge of the Arduino platform and be able to carry out projects of different types with any of the different Arduino boards or compatible.

In this course, students will also learn the concepts of free hardware, microcontrollers, the maker world, and DIY, since communications, Internet connection, and connected devices are another important aspect today and the concepts of computing and communications are linked. hand in hand when we talk about ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), we will also discuss in this course communications and programming of connected devices.

This course starts from scratch, so previous knowledge is not required, but basic programming skills (especially C ++), electricity and electronics are advisable. An average knowledge of English is recommended as most Arduino is a widely used platform and can often be viewed as a "toy", but in this course we will learn how to program and use it to implement it in any application we need so much for. professional use as personal / amateur. The main benefit of using such a platform is the rapid deployment of a new application and the ease of programming.

The main purpose of this course is not to learn the Arduino programming itself, but to see much of what Arduino is capable of and what can be done later so that everyone can dig deeper on their own or in other courses. offers a theoretical and practical overview of open source technologies, based on Arduino for practical use cases by the Industry. It also presents the opportunities for applying the Arduino methodology and technologies and the requirements for their implementation. A tour of the most common techniques for collecting data from different sensors will be made.

The course will have a duration of 30 teaching hours, broken down into 18 hours in online format and 12 hours in face-to-face format, which will be held in the different Colleges of Catalonia according to the College of origin of the registered students. In the Observations section you will find the dates of completion of the face-to-face part, in each of the Schools.
