Programming: 1. Brief construction history of composite elements in bulk concrete and reinforced concrete
2. Characteristics of the material according to the different construction periods
3. Regulatory framework for the rehabilitation of concrete structures.
4. Introduction to pathology in concrete structures.
5. Evaluation of structural safety in concrete structures.
6. Choice of the constructive solution of reinforcement, repair and treatments - Calculations
necessary structures.
7. Checking the fire of beams, pillars, slabs or other types of slabs
8. Treatments to be performed on concrete.
9. Realization of the totality of a project of reinforcement of squares of reinforced concrete.
Documentation: The documentation will be available on the platform between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the training. In the event that there is additional documentation after the training, we will provide it later.
Certification: Once the training action has been completed, students will obtain a certificate of attendance which can be downloaded to the platform.
Targets:

The aim of this course is to learn a methodology for carrying out rehabilitation and repair projects in reinforced concrete structures, such as unidirectional slabs of reinforced concrete slabs and reinforced concrete gantry (beams and pillars).

The characteristics of the material will be studied according to the different periods, as well as its operation. Later, students will be provided with a simple method of checking the existing structures, as well as the calculation and reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures if necessary.

A whole set of construction solutions and repairs of this type of structure will be detailed, in which special attention will be paid to the calculation of different construction solutions, depending on the element to be reinforced or replaced. Subsequently, a brief description of the fire test of this type of material will be made, both for beams, pillars, slabs or other types of slabs. Finally, the student will have a real example of a repair project for slabs reinforced concrete.
