Program to promote industry 4.0 as a driver of the transformation of the Catalan economy

The mission of the Foundation for Industry. Sabadell 1559 is to accompany small and medium-sized Catalan industrial companies, proposing specific actions such as support, creation and transmission of knowledge, awareness of adaptation to new realities, spaces for reflection and networking.

The Foundation has been working for two years to promote the concept of Industry 4.0 among Catalan industrial SMEs and in January 2020 an agreement was signed with the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya to collaborate with ACCIÓ in the ProAcció 4.0 program.

The impact of COVID-19 on the economy calls for refocusing and accelerating actions. That is why from the Foundation for Industry, with the collaboration of ACCIÓ, and the support of Foment and Fepime, we are promoting a program to put in contact the big industrial companies that operate in Catalonia with the Catalan industrial SMEs .

What can large industrial companies bring us?

• Learning and knowledge in the implementation of technology because they are already in the early stages of Industry 4.0.
• Possibility of supporting the construction of Catalan root supply chains where industrial SMEs take center stage, defining requirements and standards that allow them to adapt to Industry 4.0.

The first major industrial company in this program is Schneider Electric, which will accompany us during the last quarter of 2020 in the following sessions:

Cancellation of registrations:

Depending on the registrations made, the training action will be viable or not, which is why it is important that you notify the cancellations.

The cancellation must be communicated 48 hours before the start of the training via email formacio@cetit.org, if 100% of the amount of the training action will not be invoiced.
