| Duration: | 8 teaching hours. Of these, 20% are practiced with resolution and debate of real cases, the rest are the theoretical part. It will not be a unilateral exhibition, as it will encourage intense debate and participation. |
| Programming: | 1.Generalities about centrifugal pumps: transformation of energy into a centrifugal pump, types of pumps, elements of the centrifugal pump 2.- Sealing systems. 3.- Installation and assembly: calculation of installation and selection of pumps, characteristic curve, load curve, selection elements. 4.- Pathologies of the pumps and ways to prevent them: cavitation, derivations and short circuits of electric motors, leaks and failures in packaging and seals, joints, corrosion, drive wear, water hammer, motor-pump misalignment 5.- Electrical power supply installation. 6.- Alignment of machines. 7.- Corrective maintenance: main breakdowns, origin and its solution. 8.- Preventive Maintenance Plan. 9.- Contracting the maintenance of pumps. 10. | Documentation: | The documentation will be available on the platform between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the training. In the event that there is additional documentation after the training, we will provide it later. |
| Certification: | Once the training action has been completed, students will obtain a certificate of attendance which can be downloaded to the platform. |
| Targets: | The aim is to facilitate the technical knowledge, both theoretical and practical, of the projects and the maintenance of the facilities, all with the contribution of experience and good practices for the selection, installation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps. In almost all industrial facilities, and also in the vast majority of facilities in buildings of any use, we will find centrifugal pumps, this process is critical for the operation of production or service corresponding, and in addition a suitable selection and maintenance is key for the saving of energy, since his consumption represents an average of 20% of the total electrical energy consumed, for this reason is so important to know how to realize his selection and its maintenance. |
