RD 337/2014 states in section 4.7 “Limitations of the magnetic field in the vicinity of high voltage installations” of the ITC-RAT 14:

“In the design of the installations of high tension will adopt the suitable measures to minimize, to the outside of the installations of high tension, the electromagnetic fields created by the circulation of current to 50 Hz to the different elements of the facilities, especially when these high voltage installations are located inside buildings of other uses.

Verification that the value established in RD 1066/2021, of 28 September, is not exceeded:

"It will be carried out by means of the calculations for the corresponding design, before the start-up of the installations that are executed following the mentioned design and in its later modifications when these could increase the value of the magnetic field."

RD 337/2014 indicates in section 4.8. "Limitation of the level of noise emitted by high voltage installations" of the ITC-RAT 14:

“In order to limit the noise originated by the installations of high tension, these will dimension and design so that the indices of noise measured in the outside of the installations adjust to the levels of acoustic quality established to RD 1367/2007, of 19 October, by which develops the Law 37/2003, of 17 November, of the Noise, regarding acoustic zoning, objectives of quality and acoustic emissions ”

1. NOISE LEVEL

• Determination of noise level emitted by a transformation center (CT) located in a building of other uses.
• Supplementary insulation to be established, where applicable, for compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Determination of noise level emitted by a CT located outside.
• (For the justification of the level of magnetic field has had the collaboration of D. Gabriel Asensio Madrid, Professor of the Department of Mathematics of the ETSID Industrial of the Polytechnic University of Madrid).

2. MAGNETIC FIELD

• Calculation of the magnetic field level in two dimensions.
• Determination of the magnetic field in three dimensions (at any point in space).
