[Online streaming course] CALCULATION AND DESIGN OF PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR INSTALLATIONS FOR SELF-CONSUMPTION. RD 244/2019

Mode: Online streaming. It allows the live broadcast of the course through the virtual classroom with the CISCO WEBEX platform. It can be done from the place you want, with computer, mobile or tablet, and allows you to follow the course live with the teacher, participate in solving the exercises, ask questions on site, listen to the queries of other attendees and follow the teacher's notes on the board. At the end of the training, attendees will be able to consult the recordings of the course in their private area, if these have been previously authorized by the teacher of the course or management entity.
Aimed at: The course is aimed at professionals who want to dedicate or deepen their energy advice, energy audits, etc. in the specialty of photovoltaic solar installations for self-consumption.
Dates: March 15, 16 and 17, 2022 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Schedule: From 3 pm to 8 pm.
Attendees: 6/25
Duration: 15 teaching hours
Programming:

1. Regulatory framework and basic concepts

Self-consumption legal framework. RDL 15/2018, RD 900/2015, RD 1699/2011 and RD 842/2002 (REBT). Technical implications of RD Autoconsum:

- Types of facilities. Connection point request. Procedures with the distributor.

- Shared self-consumption. Options.

- Legalization and registration of facilities. Self-consumption administrative register. Company channel.

- Technical project and technical design report. Certificate of installation. Initial inspections.

- Zero injection. UNE 217001.

- Particular technical standards of distributors.

2. Technical fundamentals of design and operation

  - Analysis of the consumption profile. Consumption monitoring. Constant or seasonal consumption profiles. Different types of daily consumption profiles. Electricity tariffs and time discrimination. Rates 3.0. Examples from customer invoices.

- Solar radiation. Hourly and monthly. Database. Calculation of solar production (different calculation methods, tools and resources). Roof space availability. Far and near shadows. Shadow calculation. Shadow configuration solutions.

- Technical, design and operating characteristics of all the equipment that forms part of a solar installation (modules, inverters, electrical equipment, DC and AC protection panels, etc.). Mounting and fixing systems. Maintenance and operation of the facilities. String configuration. Design conditions.

3. Schematics of self-consumption photovoltaic installations

This block presents the basic configuration diagrams of all types of self-consumption photovoltaic installations and the comparison with the other existing modalities (assisted, isolated and interconnected).

Basic diagram of self-consumption photovoltaic installations (with and without surplus management).

Basic diagram of self-consumption photovoltaic installations with electrical storage. Batteries

Comparison with basic diagram of autonomous photovoltaic installations with the different types of batteries that currently exist.

Different ways of representing single-line and configuration diagrams. Lay outs.

4. Calculation and design of self-consumption photovoltaic solar installations. Energy recovery. Computing software

Detailed sizing of a self-consumption installation

- Calculation of the optimal power according to invoices or consumption profiles (schedules, monthly).

- Implementation of the modules on the roof.

- Inverters. Centralized or decentralized. String configuration.

- Solar coverage vs. self-consumption ratios.

- Valorisation of the energy generated.

- Electrical calculations. Protections. Wiring and voltage drops.

5. Solving exercises. Calculation examples

Solving calculation and design examples using different computer resources and tools, excel sheets and configuration software (SUNNY DESIGN, Ampere energy, PIKO PLAN).

Define consumption profiles from electricity bills or monitoring. Import actual hourly consumption. Plant layout of the modules (lay out). Drawing single-line diagrams. Electrical calculations. Technical and commercial reports and proposals.

Documentation: The documentation will be available on the platform between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the training. In the event that there is additional documentation after the training, we will provide it to you later.
Certification: Once the training action has been completed, students will obtain a certificate of attendance which can be downloaded to the platform.
Targets:

On April 5, RD 244/2019 was approved, which regulates the administrative, technical and economic conditions of self-consumption of electricity. To train technicians to be able to properly design installations of solar foltovoltaic energy for self-consumption in all the modalities that the RD 900/2015 contemplates, use a program of calculation of energetic valorisation and definition of the profiles of consumption.

Photovoltaic self-consumption is a reality that will be increasingly implemented in Catalonia, within the strategic plan of the Energy Transition of Catalonia and the impetus led by the ICAEN.

Bonuses: We manage the procedures so that you can benefit from the corresponding training bonus.
Discount Instructions:

1. Request the forms from CETIT at formacio@enginyerstarragona.cat

2. Provide all information 10 calendar days before the start of the course.

3. IMPORTANT NOTE: bonuses are carried out through external advice. Those who want to take advantage of the bonus for any training action, the price will be increased by 20% (which can also be discounted and recovered).
