| Goal: | The new regulatory framework will benefit 564,000 companies and 362,000 self-employed people in the country and generate total savings of 44.4 million euros. Last July 5, the Government approved Decree 131/2022, which speeds up the start-up of companies and strategic projects. The Decree develops measures to reduce bureaucratic burdens, defines proactive services for the company, based on the management and analysis of its data; and details the relationship model between the company, the self-employed and professionals, and the administrations. It applies the "Once Only" principle whereby companies and self-employed people will only have to provide their data once in all their procedures with all Catalan administrations. It plans to speed up especially those business projects considered strategic for the Catalan economy, which in the coming years will be "of an industrial nature or services to production". With the implementation of this new regulatory framework, the Government will speed up the implementation of investments in the coming years that will allow the country to be reindustrialized. It will explain in detail the novelties brought by the decree, the current obligations it entails for the Catalan administrations and the criteria that will govern from now on to consider a project as strategic. |
