Targets: | The tourism sector is a fundamental pillar of the country's economy and brings great value to society. In this sense, Catalonia is a tourist power of the first order, and has a very wide and varied tourist offer, which includes a large amount of "tourist attractions" for all possible age groups and available during the four seasons. Unfortunately, the current regulatory framework still leaves many unknowns open in relation to how we should treat certain leisure facilities from a technical point of view, their inspections and certifications. On this day, the leaders of the Leisure Engineering Working Group of the EIC will discover the actions that are being carried out for the professionalization of the sector and the improvement of the current regulations in Catalonia, while we will learn about the facilities most common leisure facilities that we can find in our home and the tools that we have as engineers to be able to have them under control. |
Speaker: | Oscar Elgarrista, member of the Leisure Engineering Working Group. |
