Addressed to: | Public and private promoters, construction companies, consultants and all professionals in the construction process |
Dates: | February 1 (Thursday) |
Schedule: | From 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm |
Goal: | The new version of TCQ represents another step in ITeC's commitment to provide the construction sector with the necessary tools to design and build in a more efficient way while responding to the main challenges of sustainability and digitization. Whether you have BIM models or not, TCQ 6.1 offers utilities aimed at total control of the carbon footprint indicators (CO2eq emissions) and embedded energy of the materials used. It is intended to be extremely simple to have these values at any stage of the project and facilitate the making of the best design and construction decisions to reduce the environmental impact. TCQ 6.1 makes it possible to simultaneously analyze the economic cost and the impact cost of the carbon footprint, detecting the elements with the greatest economic and environmental impact, which facilitates the optimization of the project. The availability of BIM models further enhances the design since the impact values can be analyzed not only on the basis of work items, but according to the BIM elements or objects that make up the project model or models. All through Open BIM formats that guarantee agile and flexible work on any BIM modeling platform. From version TCQ 6.1, with the Work Certification module, it is possible to control the carbon footprint and the energy embedded in each certification at origin, with which the achievement of the project's environmental objectives is controlled, as well such as the study of deviations in the forecast of the environmental impact that may occur during the execution of the work. All of this is configured as the gateway to the incorporation of sustainability in projects and works through simple resources that allow to improve the built product. The relationship of these tools with the BEDEC, the most powerful and rigorous environmental information database on the market, ensures the reliability of the information generated. However, these TCQ modules provide access to more powerful environmental tools that novice users may need, such as TCQ-GMA, which allows full life-cycle impact analysis, addressing circularity, recycling, all aligned with the Level(s) initiatives and the European Taxonomy. |
