Addressed to: | The course is intended for professionals who want to dedicate themselves to or delve deeper into energy advice, energy audits, etc. in the specialty of photovoltaic solar installations for self-consumption. |
Dates: | March 4 and 5 (Tuesday and Wednesday) |
Hours: | From 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (one-hour lunch break, included in the price) |
Duration: | 14 teaching hours |
Objectives: | On April 5, RD 244/2019 was approved, which regulates the administrative, technical and economic conditions for self-consumption of electrical energy. Train technicians to be able to properly design photovoltaic solar energy installations for self-consumption in all the modalities contemplated by RD 900/2015, using a program to calculate energy valorization and define consumption profiles. Photovoltaic self-consumption is a reality that will increasingly be implemented in Catalonia, within the strategic plan for the Energy Transition of Catalonia and the momentum led by ICAEN. |
Programming: | 1. Regulatory framework and basic concepts Legal framework for self-consumption. RDL 15/2018, RD 900/2015, RD 1699/2011 and RD 842/2002 (REBT). Technical implications of RD Autoconsum: - Types of installations. Connection point request. Procedures with the distributor. - Shared self-consumption. Options. - Legalization and registration of facilities. Administrative register of self-consumption. Company channel. - Technical project and technical design report. Installation certificate. Initial inspections. - Zero injection. UNE 217001. - Specific technical standards for distributors. 2. Technical fundamentals of design and operation - Consumption profile analysis. Consumption monitoring. Constant or seasonal consumption profiles. Different types of daily consumption profiles. Electricity rates and hourly discrimination. Rates 3.0. Examples from customer invoices. - Solar radiation. Hourly and monthly. Databases. Calculation of solar production (different calculation methods, tools and resources). Availability of roof space. Far and near shadows. Calculation of shadows. Solutions in configuration for shadows. - Technical, design and operating characteristics of all the equipment that is part of a solar installation (modules, inverters, electrical panels, DC and AC protection panels, etc.). Mounting and fixing systems. Maintenance and operation of the installations. String configuration. Design conditions. 3. Diagrams of self-consumption photovoltaic installations This block presents the basic configuration diagrams of all types of self-consumption photovoltaic installations and the comparison with the other existing modalities (assisted, isolated and interconnected). Basic diagram of self-consumption photovoltaic installations (with and without surplus management). Basic diagram of self-consumption photovoltaic installations with electrical storage. Batteries Comparison with basic diagram of autonomous photovoltaic installations with the different types of batteries that currently exist. Different ways of representing single-line and configuration diagrams. Lay outs. 4. Calculation and design of photovoltaic solar installations for self-consumption. Energy recovery. Calculation software Detailed sizing of a self-consumption installation - Calculation of optimal power according to invoices or consumption profiles (hourly, monthly). - Implementation of modules on the roof. - Inverters. Centralized or decentralized. String configuration. - Solar coverage vs. self-consumption ratio. - Valorization of the energy generated. - Electrical calculations. Protections. Wiring and voltage drops. 5. Solving exercises. Calculation examples Resolution of calculation and design examples using different computer resources and tools, Excel sheets and configuration software (SUNNY DESIGN, Ampere energy, PIKO PLAN). Define consumption profiles from electricity bills or monitoring. Import real hourly consumption. Implementation of modules on the floor (lay out). Drawing of single-line diagrams. Electrical calculations. Technical and commercial reports and proposals. |
