A training course has been organized on the "HYGIENICOSANITARY MAINTENANCE OF RISK FACILITIES IN FRONT LA LEGIONELA? aimed at the company's personnel who carry out their own maintenance treatments against the legionella, to outsourced companies to carry out the treatments and those responsible for maintenance and / or the environment.
According to Decree 352/2004 of July 28, which establishes hygiene and sanitary conditions for the prevention and control of the legionella, anyone who performs treatments for the prevention of the legionella must certify the formation You have received to perform these treatments. This training must conform to the program established by Decree 352/2004 and must be provided by entities accredited by the Department of Health and Social Security of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
PROGRAM OF THE COURSE
1. Sanitary importance of the legionnaire (3h).
Legionella pneumophila. Epidemiology,
Legionella pneumophila ecology and microbiology.
2. Legislative area (3 hours).
3. General criteria for cleaning and disinfection (3 hours).
Good practices and cleaning and disinfection products
4. Public and labor health (2h).
Risk of use of chemical and biological products
Personal protection equipment
5. Risk facilities included within the scope of Royal Decree 909/2001 (4 h).
Design and maintenance of the mechanical systems for the prevention of the legionella
6. Identification of critical points. Elaboration of control programs (2h).
Legionella control programs
7. Practices (7h). Practical exercises will be carried out during the theoretical sessions
8. Evaluation (1h)
