The Rovira i Virgili University Foundation has organized this Master's Degree in Industrial Risk Management (MGRI) with the collaboration of the College
In the counties of Tarragona, this type of risk is present in the chemical, petrochemical and energy sector; to the transport of dangerous substances and to the terminals of storage of chemical products.
However, a properly managed risk can be reduced to a level that is perfectly acceptable or tolerated by society as a whole, which finds undeniable advantages of social and economic order in this type of company. But, to effectively manage the risk, it is necessary to have tools and criteria to evaluate and reduce it to reasonable values
MASTER PROGRAM
The Master's program lasts 500 hours, 380 are present (theoretical and practical) and the rest, 120 hours, corresponding to the period of completion of a final project or practical work.
1. Area of technological risk (135 h)
2. Department of Culture of Security and Territory (35 h)
3. Human Factors Area (120 h)
4. Area of Organization or Economy of risk (50 h)
5. Risk Communication Area (40 h)
DATES: from February 2005 until May / June 2006
HOURS: Monday and Tuesday, from 4 to 8 pm
PLACE OF REALIZATION: ETSEQ (Higher Technical School of Chemical Engineering) Av. Països Catalans, 26 from Tarragona. The practical sessions will be developed in the simulators and classrooms of TECNATOM, Pol. Ind. Les Tàpies, 2, c / Montoriol, s / n, Hospitalet de l'Infant, and the pre-departmental Communication University of the URV, c / Sant Pau, 4 de Tarragona
REGISTRATION PRICE: € 5000

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: university degree of second cycle and collegiate of the CETIT.
