The Institute for Turbine Construction (ICT), a non-profit organization of an eminently technical nature, has called the first edition of ICT ICT CONSTRUCTION AWARDS with TURBULAR ACTION PROFILES, which have been established as a biennial architecture event and engineering to distinguish outstanding works that have made significant of the Steel Turbine Profile or represent a new application of these profiles in the fields of construction, civil engineering and urban facilities.
The ICT and the qualifying jury, which was formed by leading professionals in architecture and engineering, are especially excited and hopeful that this first edition will be very welcoming, both for the number of projects presented and for the level of quality of them. This will encourage you to enrich later editions
PARTICIPANTS: Building works, civil engineering, infrastructures and urban facilities, new plant or intervention in existing works, that incorporate steel turbulent profiles of relevance can participate. These works must have finished in Spain between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2005
Concurrent projects may be presented individually or in a team of several professionals who are authors of the project. Each participant or team will be able to present the works they want, carried out within the indicated period
AWARD OF PRIZES: Two prizes will be established:
A first prize of 10,000 euros
A second prize of 5,000 euros
If the jury deems it appropriate, it may grant honorable mentions. The projects awarded with the prize or mention will receive a certification diploma and will be published in the technical journal "CONSTRUBER" that is published by the Institute for Turbine Construction. Likewise, the result of the contest will be given the maximum dissemination in specialized magazines of architecture, engineering and construction
