Energy is present in all the activities we do. With energy, we light up, we cook food, we wash our clothes, retain food, heat or cool the house, use the computer, watch television, listen to music or have hot water.
With small changes in our habits and without losing comfort, we will soon see the reduction of our energy bill and contribute to sustainability
Tuesday 18th, THE FOREIGN ENERGY OF HOUSE
Our study, work or leisure activities take place in buildings that use energy in their activity, for heating and cooling, for lighting or for wings equipment and machines. Also outside the home we can contribute to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
We adapt the use of energy to our real needs: we use natural light, control heating and cooling temperatures, and turn off the lights and equipment we do not use
Wednesday 19, THE ENERGY IN MY MOBILITY
The current model of life makes every time we have to move more: to make more journeys we need to optimize the solutions to generate services and transport models that cover these needs.
Our sensitivity to make decisions in our mobility is essential. The use of public transport must be prioritized, use the car only when necessary and, if so, conduct calmly and economically. You must also assess the possibility of walking and / or using the bicycle. These are decisions that reduce energy consumption, gas emissions and also improve our safety.
Thursday 20, ENERGY IN THE SCHOOL
To save energy you have to learn it. Young people's education is a fundamental element.
School centers must act as a complement to family education to disseminate among young people the habits for the intelligent use of energy: use natural light in the classroom, control temperatures, and develop activities that favor knowledge about energy.
Friday 21, RENEWABLE ENERGIES
The increase in energy consumption in our society must first be covered with energy saving and efficiency measures, and subsequently with the growing participation of renewable energies
Renewable energies allow us to take advantage of a natural resource to move towards a more efficient energy model
