It is a course of AUDIO OF CLASSICAL MUSIC that we believe may be of interest to you, since it is aimed at those who like classical music, but who have studied it little or nothing for different circumstances and have a restlessness for music and culture in general.
COURSE CONTENT:
1. The composers in their historical and aesthetic context. Tools for the knowledge of the different styles within the so-called "classical music"
2. The musical instruments and the formations to which they participate.
3. The musical genres and their evolution.
4. Classical music and current society. How teaching and broadcasting work in our country and in other countries
We will talk about the distribution of these contents throughout the course and we can discuss about which ones should be emphasized.
TARGETS:
1. Acquire a musical culture
2. To know the internal mechanisms and the context in which the main classic pieces were generated
3. Get a good music listening technique.
In short, help to enjoy and appreciate more fully the pleasure of listening to music, which is art and science.

The classes of instruments and musical formations can be given with practical examples at the Conservatory of Music of the Diputació de Tarragona, C / Cavallers, 10 from Tarragona
DOCUMENTATION:
Photocopies of cards will be delivered with practical auditions and aesthetic notions.

TYPE OF TEACHING;
- Explanations made by the teacher, with sample of graphic examples and documentation.
- Show sound and musical examples. Answer to questions asked by the students.
- Student participation motivated by the teacher to gauge the degree of understanding of the subjects covered. The examples will be combined along with explanations and practical achievements.
