The Catalan Association of Engineering Without Borders organizes a conference to publicize the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations throughout our group exemplifying its actions.
In the year 2000, 189 Heads of State and Government signed the Millennium Declaration in the United Nations Framework and undertook to achieve in 2015 the 8 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) : eradicate extreme poverty, achieve universal primary education, promote gender equality and women's autonomy, reduce child mortality, combat HIV / AIDS, malaria and other diseases; Guarantee environmental sustainability and promote a global partnership for development?
