The recent Directive 2004/35 / EC on environmental liability in relation to the prevention and repair of environmental damage is a major challenge for business management, since it internalizes many environmental costs, with the impact this results on the results and solvency of the business project.
OBJECTIVES: The purpose of the course is to offer attendees rigorous, up-to-date and eminently practical training on the analysis, modeling and assessment of the environmental risks faced by industrial and service companies.
It is intended that, once the course has finished, the assistant is able to face the requirements of the new environmental legislation without difficulty and with a sound and consistent foundation.
ADDRESSED: Diploma holders and graduates of technical careers with a special interest in environmental issues and, in particular, for the quantification of environmental risk. It is therefore useful, among others, for municipal technicians, the Administration, responsible for quality and the environment, industrial and personnel of engineering companies, insurers or experts.
PROGRAM:
1. Accidental risk. (28 hours).
2. Gradual Contamination. (36 hours)
3. Integrated practical cases of environmental risk assessment. (16 hours)
TITLE: postgraduate diploma issued by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. To obtain it, it is necessary to have an official university degree or a university degree. Otherwise, the student will obtain a certificate of assistance and use issued by the UPC Foundation. The diploma mentions the duration of the course.
DURATION: 80 hours
