CIRCULAR CODE: 03/09
The Action Plan of the Energy Plan in Catalonia 2006-2015, together with that of the Energy Efficiency Strategy in Spain (E4) 2004-20012, determine a series of actions for the improvement of the energy efficiency.
One of the lines of action, coinciding with those contained in the recent European Directive 2006/32 on Energy Efficiency and Energy Services, is the strengthening of energy audits in particular, and services or technical assistance in general.
COURSE OBJECTIVE: to strengthen technical services so that they are able to diagnose, with solvency and quality, the state of energy efficiency in consumer establishments in Catalonia (tertiary and industrial sectors) through the use of advanced measurement tools currently available .
COURSE PROGRAM:
I. Thermotechnics
I.1 Temperature: thermometer with contact probes, for liquids and gases, infrared pyrometer with laser guide, infrared thermographic camera.
I.2 Humidity: thermohygrometer with probe.
I.3 Pressure: U-tube, digital manometer, differential manometer.
I.4 Combustion: portable smoke analyzer with indication of gas temperature, percentage by volume of oxygen, excess air, PA, PI and performance, opacimeter.
I.5 Gas flow: windmill and resistance anemometer, Pitot tube.
I.6 Liquid flow: ultrasonic flow meter.
II. Electrical engineering
II.1 Simple multimeter, network analyzer with indication of voltage, current, apparent, active and reactive power, power factor, maximeter, active and reactive consumption in definable periods, all by phase and global by the system.
II.2 Energy: electric meter.
II.3 Electrical intensity: ammeter clamp.
II.4 Light intensity: luxometer.
II.5 Others: tachometer, ultrasonic distance meter, conductivity meter, ultrasonic detector.
AIMED AT: installers, maintainers, engineering and energy consultants, inspection and control bodies.
DATES AND SCHEDULE : 2, 3, 4, 9, 11 and 12 February 2009, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
DOCUMENTATION: course follow-up documentation will be provided.
