DESIGNBUILDER, software created in England for the thermal, light and energy analysis of buildings; the program is designed to facilitate the complex processes of calculation and simulation, and allows to design buildings and facilities with higher levels of comfort and lower energy consumption.
COURSE CONTENT:
Introduction to energy simulation.
3D modeling.
Creation and administration of libraries.
Data and model options.
Calculations and simulation.
Interpretation and management of results.
*** ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT ***: The student must bring his / her computer (or one computer for every two students) in order to work with the program during the course. It is recommended that you start a quarter of an hour earlier on the first day of class to install the software on each of the computers.
AIMED AT: Consulting and energy efficiency sector.
TEACHER: Arturo Ordoñez, Director of the company SOL · ARQ (Sustainable Architectural Solutions), which through an alliance with DB England, develops and promotes software for Spanish-speaking countries.
CALENDAR: January 30; February 6 and 13, 2010 (SATURDAYS) from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
DOCUMENTATION: follow-up documentation will be delivered.
CERTIFICATION: a certificate of attendance to the course will be delivered upon request of the participant. Compulsory minimum attendance of 80% of the teaching hours.
