LA GIRALDA DE L'ARBOÇ, is the result of a love story between Juan Roquer and Calendaria Negrevenis. Fascinated by the architectural fantasies of the palaces and monuments that visited in Andalusia.
It has a central courtyard inspired by the lions of the Alhambra in Granada. It has another square body, crowned with a Byzantine cup full of gold, which reproduces the room of the ambassadors of? Los Reales Alcázares? of Sevilla. And in the center of the group there is a monumental replica of the Giralda de Sevilla.
WORK: AUCA DEL SEÑOR ESTEVE
An innovative vision of the great Rusiñol classic with a great company and live music.
Mr. Esteve's auca, published as a novel in 1907 and represented for the first time as a theater comedy in 1917, with immense success, is one of the central works of Catalan modernism and was the piece chosen by officially inaugurated the National Theater of Catalonia on September 11, 1997.
At La Puntual, a family-owned Barcelona shop that has been founded for four generations, life goes on unfettered until Ramonet, the youngest of the family and generational relay of the business, decides not to follow the family tradition and dedicate himself to sculpture. Santiago Rusiñol starts from this plot to write a magnificent portrait of the bourgeoisie of Barcelona, both menestile and worker, and the confrontation between the artist and society.
The charge of commanding this new staging of the great Catalan comedy classic is Carme Portaceli, which brings the vitality and ironic approach of its assemblies to offer us what she describes as the altarpiece (more skeptic than naturalist ) of the creation of the modern Barcelona from 1830 until more than a century later.
A dramaturgy that starts with the novel without leaving aside the theatrical piece, an extraordinary group of actresses and actors and five live musicians on the stage complete this production.
