CIRCULAR CODE: 33/11
Last year we organized a course on DYNAMIC SIMULATION OF THERMAL SOLAR SYSTEMS IN BUILDINGS, at the end of October, but finally could not be taught.
Now we enclose this circular with the new dates of execution so that, if you did not do it at the time, you can register to the course
Dynamic simulation programs are the only valid procedures for designing and calculating a thermal solar energy system, since they integrate all the non-constant variables and allow to interrelate all the subfields of a system.
The design and detailed calculation of examples of thermal solar energy installations and dynamic simulation will be done through the ACSOL 2.5 software of the main solar thermal systems in buildings.
CONTENT OF THE COURSE (12 h):
- N ormativa and legislation. Justification of the dynamic simulation to perform the calculations.
- Main schemes in buildings.
- Dynamic simulation with AcSol 2.5: energy balances, consumption profiles, captive field connections, thermal losses, performance of the field of collectors, hours and temperatures of overheating, etc.
- Solution of examples with AcSol 2.5.
LEGISLATION AND REGULATION:
- RD 1027/2007, of July 20, Regulation of Thermal Installations in Buildings (RITE).
- Instruction 4/2008, SIE, which regulates the requirements that must comply with thermal installations in buildings in Catalonia.
- RD 865/2003, of July 4, Hygienic-sanitary criteria for the prevention and control of legionellosis.
- Decree 21/2006, of February 14, Adoption of environmental criteria and eco-efficiency in buildings.
- Instruction 2/07, SIE, Clarifications on the regulatory provisions to comply with the ITE in relation to the CTE and the decree of eco-efficiency.
- RD 314/2006, of March 17, Technical Building Code (CTE).
*** INDISPENSABLE REQUIREMENT ***: the student will have to bring their computer (or a computer for every two students) to work with the program during the course. It is recommended that the first day of class begin a quarter of an hour before installing the software on each of the computers.
