This course aims to facilitate an integrated vision of the key concepts and instruments of accounting and finance essential for the analysis, planning and control of the activities and results of the management of the company. In particular, the following objectives are pursued:
• Explain clearly and precisely the concepts and key terminology of the "financial language" for non-financial managers and technicians.
• Make it possible to understand and analyze the accounting statements (balance sheet and income statement) based on a basic level.
• Facilitate the interpretation of the company's financial and economic situation, through the main instruments of economic-financial analysis.
PROGRAM (20 HOURS):
I. ACCOUNTING ANALYSIS
• Introduction to accounting: basic concepts.
• Economic-financial states (annual accounts).
• Analysis of the balance sheet (asset analysis)
• Analysis of the profit and loss account (economic analysis)
• Cost-benefit analysis (cost accounting)
• Consolidated accounts.
II. FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
• Financial foundations.
• Sources of short-term financing (credits and discounts).
• Source of long-term financing (loans).
• Investment products (fixed and variable income).
• Analysis of investment projects
• Analysis of the budget.
