In an increasingly competitive labor market, we must take advantage of the use of new technologies. Today, not only is it necessary to have a good CV, and it is well written, we need to network and sell well, to stand out among the other candidates. And is that professional social networks (Linkedin, XING ...) and Personal Marketing are no longer an option, but a need to find a job. That is why it is very important to have minimum knowledge to be able to explore and discover these new opportunities that the Internet offers us.

This course will help you learn more about the world of professional social networks and how to use them to find a job, how to create a professional profile, network and make it known. It will also give you resources and some 2.0 tools to do better this search.

TARGETS:

-           Know what Personal Marketing is and what it is for.

-           Understand the possibilities of the 2.0 world and social networks to find work on the Internet.

-           Learn to take advantage of professional social networks (Linkedin and XING).

-           Know the basic tools and applications of social networks (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to network and contacts.

-           Use resources and tools 2.0 to do a better search.

PROFESSOR: Sara López , graduate in Journalism. He currently works as a communication technician at the Catalan Association of Engineering Without Borders. He has worked in El Periódico de Catalunya and in El Periódico de Extremadura as editor, also in different social entities in communication and education, and in Barcelona Activa (Cibernàrium) as a digital literacy technique teaching Internet courses, Social Networks, Communication and Social Marketing.
