This course is focused on the purpose of presenting the theoretical aspects and PRACTICES most important to understand the operation of the protections.
Learn to solve the common problems of differential protection as well as its correct sizing.
The course is divided by a theoretical part and a practical part.
The first part will give a theoretical review of the different types of differential protections, the origin of the current leakage and its type.
The second part, which will be totally practical, will be carried out on prototypes that simulate real installations.
It is highly recommended that each student carry his verification device of differentials and leakage forceps, if available, so that he can carry out the practices with the device that he usually uses.
