A basic course of environmental and architectural acoustics has been organized aimed at technicians interested in acoustic knowledge; of the procedures for measurement and control of noise generated by activities and neighborhood; and / or who wish to integrate these concepts into their projects; and all those interested in knowing the applicable legislation.
The main objectives of this course are:
- Acquire the basic knowledge in acoustics in order to be able to understand different actions and evaluate the acoustic levels obtained in noise measurements.
- Identify and analyze the main acoustic parameters that must be taken into account when developing architectural acoustics projects (reverberation time, absorption coefficient, etc.).
- Acquire the basic notions of the hierarchy of the legal system
- Know the main environmental and architectural acoustic regulations
- Know the main aspects in acoustics of the Technical Building Code
