The Association assumes the following objectives:
- The representation, defense and promotion of the economic, social, labor, professional and cultural interests of its partners throughout the European Union.
- Encourage the solidarity of the affiliated Industrial and Graduate Engineers, promoting and creating common services of a welfare nature.
- Sustain and promote all kinds of activities that help to fulfill its goals.
- Edition of magazines, newsletters and publications in general, aimed at the information of the partners and the dissemination of the sectorial problems and the activities of the Association.
- Contracting and collective representation for supplies and services.
- Own realization of surveys and studies, and participation in which they are carried out by other organisms.
- Advise and inform all Public Administration bodies, as well as members of the Association, of situations that affect the economy of companies or the sector, by making appropriate proposals and reports.
- Represent the partners, defending the common interests of their members before any body, jurisdiction or instance, including collective labor and trade union negotiations.
- Participate in accordance with the legislation in force, in the organizations and entities of the Public Administration and in their institutions, and those of consultative or technical nature related to the sector.
- Participate in the regulation and refinement of market competition, to avoid unfair competition, and assuming, in previous instance, arbitration whenever necessary and where required.
- Organize conferences, discussions and other acts of similar nature for the promotion of studies of economic, social and production issues, of interest to its members, as well as of postgraduate training.
- Create and maintain services of common interest such as: Technical, Legal, Labor, Economic and Financial Consultancy.
- Provision of other services of general interest when the Association deems it appropriate.
- In general all the activities or functions deemed appropriate by the Association and that are permitted by current legislation, and provided that the Association agrees in the regulatory form established in these Statutes.
