Enginyers Tarragona makes a donation of 5,000 euros to La Marató de TV3 for COVID-19

The College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona (CETIT - Engineers Tarragona) has made a donation to La Marató de TV3 of 5,000 euros.

This year's TV3 Marathon is aimed at researching the Covid-19. Catalonia, like the rest of the world, is experiencing one of the most difficult and uncertain times in recent times, caused by the SARS-coV2 coronavirus pandemic, with serious consequences for the health of citizens. In this situation of exceptional health, and in the face of the need to advance in the search for the Covid-19, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation has decided, exceptionally, to change the theme planned for this year's Marathon to dedicate -la to the Covid-19.

The Governing Board of CETIT, representing the group of 1,300 Technical and Undergraduate Engineers of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre, has found it appropriate to make an effort in favor of research. We think that this year, more than ever, our organization, as on other occasions, must be on the side of the causes that need it most and because of how the pandemic has occurred COVID-19 and the resources that are they can be allocated to it will not be enough. The CETT with this donation puts its grain of sand to this research and to find a solution that brings normality to the citizens ”.
