From 31 May 2021 there will be no extension for force majeure ERTOs.
However, if an ERTO ETOP (temporary suspension of the contract or reduction of working hours due to economic, technical, organizational or production reasons) has been processed, the end date will be the one agreed with the workers' representatives.
Workers must join on June 1, 2021 in accordance with the working conditions agreed in their employment contract.
Although workers should be aware of the beginning and end of the validity of the ERTO to which they are subject, it would be advisable to communicate them individually to each of them, taking into account the different extensions that has been approved by the State Government.
It should be remembered that non-incorporation into the workplace could be considered a labor offense for lack of attendance and therefore the company could act accordingly.
