The Public Employment Service of Catalonia, SOC, has presented a call with the aim of subsidizing the employment of unemployed people aged 30 and over to promote the creation of stable and quality employment, and in particular, the creation of jobs for people in a vulnerable situation.
Indefinite and temporary contracts with a minimum duration of 12 months, which provide a responsible statement indicating a minimum contract duration of one year, are eligible.
The contracts must be full-time, take place in Catalonia and the maximum number of eligible contracts per person or entity is five.
Relevant, temporary, training and apprenticeship contracts, internships or discontinuous fixed-term contracts will not be eligible.
This action is promoted and subsidized by the SOC and funded by the European Social Fund, in response to the European Union's pandemic of covid.
Beneficiaries
- The persons or entities legally constituted and established in Catalonia.
- Non-profit organizations (including associations and foundations).
- Associated work cooperatives. Private individuals or legal entities, and communities of property, with the capacity to sign an employment contract.
- Employment agencies, insertion companies or temporary work companies cannot be beneficiaries.
A maximum of five contracts per applicant person or entity will be awarded.
Recipients
Unemployed persons aged 30 and over, registered as jobseekers at the Employment Office, with the capacity to formalize an employment contract at the time of signing, and who meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Unemployed people aged 45 or over.
- Unemployed people aged 30 and over, if they are women or long-term unemployed people. A long-term unemployed person is a person who is unemployed or not, registered with the Social Security for a minimum of 12 months, continuous or not, during the last 18 months prior to hiring. subject of the application.
Deadline for submitting the application
From January 10 to 3 pm on May 31, 2022.
Budget
39 million euros from the European Social Fund.
Start of actions
Applicants will have a period of two months from the date of commencement of the employment contract to submit applications.
Applications must be submitted before the end of the contract. If the same application includes several contracts, the contracting entity will have a period of two months from the start date of the last contract.
Term of execution of the program
December 31, 2022.
