From September 2, the Digital Kit aid will reach SMEs with 3 to 9 workers

Data and Services informs us that this new call will coexist for a few days with the application submission deadline of the previous one (companies with 10 to 49 employees), which will remain open until September 15, 2022.

In this second phase of the Digital Kit, a catalog is offered with 12 different solutions, two more than in the previous one, and SMEs will be able to choose where to spend the money to digitize their business.

The amount of the aid will be 6,000 euros and with this money companies will be able to acquire digitization solutions for key areas such as: website and Internet presence, social network management, e-commerce, customer management, services and tools virtual office, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications, and cyber security. In addition, in this second call, two new categories such as advanced Internet presence and Marketplace are added

How to request help from the Digital Kit

The first thing to do is register in the private area of www.acelerapyme.es, complete the digital self-diagnosis test and choose one or more of the solutions proposed in the catalog. And, finally, apply for help at the Red.es electronic headquarters, https://sede.red.gob.es

Once it has been verified that the company meets the requirements, the digital voucher is granted. At this point the company will have to select one or more digitizing agents to develop the digitization solutions that best suit the needs of their business and sign the digitization solution provision agreements.

The grants are non-competitive and will be awarded directly and in order of arrival, once the checks have been carried out for compliance with the requirements set out in the call. After receiving help, what steps should I take?

The first thing we have to take into account is that the aid will not be deposited into our company's account, but rather the digitizing agent chosen to carry out the work will collect, depending on the work and budget, the money from the 'aid of the Digital Kit.

Therefore, the first step is to choose our digitizing agent. There is a list of those already operational in Accelera Pime: https://www.acelerapyme.gob.es/kit-digital/catalogo-digitalizadores. If we already have a reference company that we have worked with and it is a digitizing agent, it will be interesting to talk to them. And we can also choose an agent or several to spend our budget.

And how should I spend this aid?

The help of the Digital Kit is aimed at services or programs and is used to hire new ones. It should be borne in mind that we can request the justification of the investment made at any time. Therefore, it is necessary to be careful about the contract that we will sign with the digitizing agent.

What if my budget exceeds the amount provided by the Digital Kit?

It may happen that the budget offered by the digitizing agent we have selected exceeds the help we will receive. In this case, the remaining amount will go to our account.

More than 8,700 digitizing agents

Currently, the catalog of digitizing agents consists of more than 8,700 affiliated agents. The membership period will remain open throughout the duration of the Program, so the catalog will be expanded as requests are resolved.

Digitization agents are the only ones able to sign agreements for the provision of digitization solutions with the companies benefiting from the Kit Digital program aid and holders of the digital voucher, and they will be able to collaborate in the aid application process, being also representatives volunteers, as well as in the resulting control actions. In addition, they will be the ones who present all the supporting documentation and the ones who will receive the payment of the digital voucher given by the beneficiary, once the justification has been accepted.

More than 21,000 grants from the first call have already been granted

So far, the Kit Digital program has received around 68,000 applications and proof of the agility of the Program are the nearly 21,000 grants granted to the companies to which the first call for Kit Digital grants is addressed, those between 10 and 49 employees. This means that 31 percent of the SMEs that have requested it already have the digital voucher to use in different digital solutions from the catalogue. This percentage of aid granted is equivalent to around 252 million euros from European Next Generation EU funds.
