During the meeting, the fourteenth degree award "Lluís Roca i Garcia" was awarded; The second edition of the Industrial Photography Prize. The tribute to the colleagues that celebrate 25 years and to Francesc Magarolas and Joan Garcia for their work in favor of the profession.
The College of Technical Engineers of Tarragona (CETIT) celebrated on 10 May the traditional fraternity dinner that became a great celebration of the group.
The event was attended by representatives of the political and professional world such as the Mayor of the city of Tarragona, Josep Fèlix Ballesteros and the Government Delegate in Tarragona of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Xavier Sabaté, as well as several directors of the Territorial Services of the Generalitat de Catalunya in our demarcation.
During the celebration, numerous important acts for the profession were realized, as they are the tribute to 24 industrial technical engineers who fulfill 25 years of collegiate.
Other events highlighted was the tribute to Francesc Magarolas Orteu for his determination to promote and obtain access to industrial technical engineering studies at night hours, as well as a public recognition of the work carried out for Joan García i Marqués, former president and former dean, who was named Honorary Associate.
On the other hand, this important meeting was the framework for the concession of the awards of the "Lluís Roca i Garcia" Final Project Award. The XIV edition fell to the project titled "Automation of a cutting and loading area of a brick factory", by Xavi Roca Trull. The winner of the second edition of the industrial photography prize, promoted by the CETIT, was also made public, and it was the responsibility of Carlos Garciapons Miranda. They also received two photo accolades Carlos Climent Merelo and Francesc Martí Pàmies.
