Tarragona candidate for the European Cultural Capital 2016
Tarragona aspires to be the European Capital of Culture in 2016, in which the capital will correspond to a Spanish city and to another from Poland. So far, 16 Spanish cities have shown interest in submitting applications, some of which have been working for some time in this project.
Given that Santander is first, we should push the Tarragona bid, do not you think?
All the members who want to get their support in the easiest way can do it through the web page of the candidature, www.tarragona2016.org or through the web page www.candidatecities.com . Remember that you can vote 3 times.
If Tarragona was chosen European Capital of Culture in 2016 would represent the Catalan culture in Europe. So it would be the first time that a Catalan city has assumed this representation.
