After the audits process, the certificate for the 2008 version of the Quality Management system has been obtained. Since the period established to be certified in the new 2008 version is 2 years, it is considered successful having obtained a month after approving changes to the norm.
The College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona has renewed the ISO 9001 certification for the area of visas, the area of postgraduate training and services of social activities. The renovation was done taking advantage of the transition of the normative changes of the last month of November that published the new version 2008 of the norm of the International Organization of Normalization.
The ISO 9001: 2008 standard does not contain new requirements to those included in the previous version, but provides clarifications to the existing requirements after the experience gained in 8 years of application of the ISO 9001: 2000 standard.
This international recognition is consistent with the effort made by the CETIT Government Board to achieve the highest level of satisfaction of its collegiate members. This is the continuation of the process initiated for continuous improvement since 2005.
