The agreement is signed by the Dean to support Tarragona's bid for the 2017 Mediterranean Games

April 29 will be known if Tarragona is the Spanish candidate for the Games.

• Support the Tarragona bid for the XVIII Mediterranean Games of 2017
• Make available to the candidature of Tarragona 2017 those human and technical resources that can be of help to the work of the same in the name of its consolidation as an aspiring to organize the mentioned games.
• Participate in the voluntary promotion of Tarragona 2017 among the members of our organization.
• If Tarragona is chosen as a Spanish candidate for the Mediterranean Games, it would be in December 2009 that the city of the Mediterranean will be known internationally.

This event will have an impact on the territory, boosting the development, both for the projects and facilities it will entail.
