The Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in disagreement with the ministerial calendar

The news made public by the Ministry of Education and Science on the definition of official university degrees in the European Higher Education Area, and in particular on the calendar to follow, has caused the reaction of the managing bodies of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia . His Government Council is concerned and worried about the slowness and hesitation surrounding the whole process configured "with criteria that have not been released".

The Government Council believes that the securities system should be defined globally and within a short period of time, specifically before the end of this year, 2005 and not in February 2007 as planned by the administration. In addition, he believes that the lack of current definition is a considerable delay with other countries and makes it impossible for universities to update the current curricula with which there is a serious damage to the student and for the future of the universities.
