Barcelona 20/1/2014. The Intercollegiate Association of Professional Associations of Catalonia has created the first Intercollective job bureau - www.borsadetreball.cat - with the aim of promoting employment in Catalonia.
The presentation of this portal took place this morning at the headquarters of the Bar Association of Barcelona by the president of the Intercollegiate Association of Professional Associations of Catalonia and Dean of the ICAB, Oriol Rusca ; by the Secretary of Employment and Labor Relations of the Department of Enterprise and Employment of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Joan Aregio; and by the College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona, both by his dean, Santiago Crivillé and by the technical secretary of this School, Xavier Socias, since they have carried out the project.
The president of the Intercollegiate Association has stressed that "the implementation of this tool is a great step because professionals from many different fields have, as of today, at your disposal more opportunities to prosper laborally , since the website is aimed both for those who seek their first job offer and for people looking for new opportunities. " Rusca also stated that "it is expected that in the next months the number of job offers will increase, since we will work from the Intercolegial to get the support of the main Catalan institutions and that www.borsadetreball.cat become the portal of reference of qualitative employment in Catalonia ".
Characteristics of the portal
The web currently comprises more than 3,000 job offers from all professional sectors and has a database of more than 94,000 professional and qualified professionals from 100 professional colleges in all areas (legal, business and social; , education and humanities, engineering, architecture and technology, health and information and communication sciences). In addition, the candidates will be able to search from the same portal offered in the stock exchanges of the different Schools, whereas the companies will be able to find qualified candidates and with the endorsement to belong to a Professional School.
What is the Intercolegial Association?
The Intercollegiate Association of Professional Associations of Catalonia, which represents more than 100 Professional Associations with more than 200,000 colleagues from all professional fields, was born a year ago with the intention of strengthening the projection social of the Schools, promote initiatives of common interest, act as interlocutor with the Administrations and study issues that affect the community, regardless of the sector to which they belong.
