ENERGY EFFICIENCY, KEY TO INDUSTRY 4.0

In the framework of the Year of Industry 4.0, ENGINYERS BCN presents the day: Energy Efficiency, key for Industry 4.0

The current situation in the industry makes it necessary to have control of energy management as an element of competitiveness due to:

1   The increase in energy costs causes the need for proper energy management, regardless of the type of installation.  
2   Increasingly, legal regulations regarding the need to efficiently manage energy resources (RD 56/2016)
3   After knowing when and where the consumption is generated, we can act to reduce them and control the results of our actions.

The new control and energy monitoring systems offer us easy tools to help our customers reduce the amount of their electricity bill, allowing us:

• Detect irregular and unnecessary consumption.  
• Notify by means of alarms (sms, email) of irregular consumption situations, possible penalties in the invoice, etc.  
• Avoid excess contracted power (penalties) or underutilization of the same and reactive energy consumption.  
• Comply with the regulations of energy audits, installing fixed measuring equipment that guarantees the fulfillment of objectives and permanent improvement.
