The CETIT through its acoustic Technical Commission has presented allegations to the Generalitat de Catalunya, Department of Territory and Sustainability announcement on the Action Plan for the Acoustic Pollution of the High Road Axles owned by the Generalitat of Catalonia. Traffic intensity greater than 3 million vehicles per year 2013-2018.
The Commission claims that in no case is there talk of the contamination that occurs through the structure, that is, the one transmitted by vibrations and that proposals should be provided to minimize the pollution produced for vibrations, as today, the regulations regarding the protection of individuals produced by vibrations have not been developed as well as that of noise at the comfort level of individuals. That is to say, the vibrations do not have a clear identity in the international normative frame as it is not written clearly, it does not exist, nor does it still exist today a parameter of measurement of the vibration assessment agreed by the different states members of the European economic community.
We hope that these allegations are considered and a level of comfort in the legal framework will be contemplated to protect the population from vibrations.
