CALL FOR ELECTIONS AND ORDINARY GENERAL BOARD OF THE CETIT

Dear colleague, dear companion,

In accordance with the established in the current Statutes, the CETIT Government Board, on January 29, 2019, has agreed to convene Elections and Ordinary General Meeting, which will be held on March 15, 2019, Actas del Colegio, avenue de Roma, 7, of Tarragona and transmitted through the videoconferencing system at the CETIT facilities in Terres de l'Ebre, Mercaders street, 2 stairway A, mezzanine B, at 15: 30 hours in first call and half an hour later in second, with the following

AGENDA OF THE DAY

  1. Reading and approval, if applicable, of the minutes of the previous Ordinary General Meeting.
  2. Elections to all the positions of the Government Board. At 4:15 p.m. the voting begins   and at 7:00 p.m. the same is over.
  3. Scrutiny and proclamation of the elected.
  4. Open turn of words

According to the established in Article 45 of the Statutes, the electoral calendar will be the following,

  • Constitution of the Electoral Board January 31, 2019
  • Exhibition of the electoral roll   February 1 to 7   of 2019
  • Deadline for submitting candidatures February 18, 2019 (at 2 pm)
  • Proclamation of candidatures February 20, 2019
  • Election campaign from February 21 to March 14

The charges that must be chosen are those established in Article 23 of the Statutes:

The management and administration of the College is attributed to the Governing Board, which consists of a dean, two vice presidents, a secretary, a deputy secretary, an auditor, a treasurer and four members.

The requirements to be a member of the Board are those established in Article 26 of the Statutes.

To be part of the Board of Governors is necessary:

a) To be a lawyer with a professional residence within the demarcation of the College and at least two years of age, except to hold the position of dean, in which a ten year old is required, and those of the Deputy Mayor, Secretary and treasurer, who is five years old.

b) Be in possession of the full civil capacity.

c) Not be suspended from collegial rights.

d) Having the Spanish nationality or being a foreigner legally qualified to be able to hold these positions.
