CELEBRATED THE COURSE ON ENERGY MANAGER SPECIALIST IN ELECTRIC BILLING

On October 22 was carried out the course on ENERGY MANAGER at the headquarters of Tarragona Engineers.

The electricity bill has increased more than 80% in the last 10 years, generating many normative changes that regulate it, becoming a very strong cost to support for any family, entity or company. Since 2014, electricity companies are obliged to Invoice according to a new system that implies new prices and different types of contracting, with the aim of increasing transparency and improving competition.

The electricity bill is based on a free market, where the contracting options depend on bilateral contracts between the customer and the commercializing company. The electricity rates to hire are many, as well as the different options for calculating the power and energy term. The way in which the electricity price has been modified, and many users have contracts that fit us at all its power and consumption needs, making its analysis review by independent experts almost obligated by any vendor (the independent energy managers).

The objective of the course was to train "energy managers" in the specialty of electrical contracting where we wanted to explore the different types of electric bills, both domestic and commercial, or industrial (rates 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0).

Students were able to acquire all the necessary knowledge to understand and mathematically describe any electrical invoice, being able to determine and optimize the adequacy or not of new billing concepts in order to obtain savings on the electricity bill. They will be able to advise and optimize the electrical invoice of any client with known savings.
