The CETIT participated in the Vth Table of Energy Poverty, held on November 12, which took place at the Casa Canals de Tarragona, where representatives from social organizations, from the Generalitat, were also attended by representatives of the city councils of Cambrils , Vila-seca and Salou, of district councils of Tarragonès and Baix Camp and of energy and water supply companies. The new municipalities intend to add to the table. There was a lack of presence of other companies as recognized by the counselor and president of the Municipal Institute of Social Services of Tarragona, Carla Aguilar-Cunill.
About 60% of the people who attend the municipalities of Tarragona and Reus through Social Services and that would have the right to the good electrical society have not processed it by ignorance. Aguilar-Cunill pointed out that energy poverty remains a "first-rate social problem," and said that there is still a lot of work to do to bring information closer to the public. The session was used to assess the energy advice service, now consolidated, that is being carried out in both cities and the evolution of aid to tackle energy poverty. There was also an impact on the need to continue promoting energy savings among citizens and promoting measures, such as environmental audits, to help reduce the high consumption of homes that are in a situation of energy inefficiency
