Call for aid for the self-employed with financial losses

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya has published Resolution TSF / 806/2020, of 2 April, approving the call for aid for self-employed workers, natural persons, for the compensation of economic losses as a result of Covid-19. The benefit can be up to 2,000 euros.

The Generalitat de Catalunya has opened a call for grants in the form of a single financial benefit that can be up to a maximum of 2,000 euros. The procedure for granting these grants is non-competitive, and is resolved until the available credit is exhausted.

It is aimed at self-employed people, natural persons, registered as self-employed workers in the Special Scheme for Self-Employed Social Security (RETA), with a tax domicile and, where applicable, the work center in Catalonia.

It is not aimed at self-employed members of companies, private civil societies, property communities, cooperatives or labor societies, members of company management bodies and collaborating self-employed workers.

Compliance with the requirements must be certified by means of the responsible declarations that include the grant application and the presentation of the supporting documentation when so requested. For more information, visit the Work website.
