The PREE program (Program for the Energy Rehabilitation of Buildings) regulates the direct granting of aid to the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The IDAE will coordinate and monitor these grants with a budget of 300,000,000 euros, which will be managed by the Communities and Autonomous Cities, direct beneficiaries of these.
This budget will be distributed according to the number of main homes or households, according to the INE's Census of First Homes. Applications may be submitted from the date established in the calls published by the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla, and until 31 July 2021, the date on which the period of validity of the Program ends.
The regulatory bases of this Program will be governed by Royal Decree 737/2020, of 4 August, which regulates the aid program for energy rehabilitation actions in existing buildings and regulates the direct granting of aid for 'this program in the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
