[COURSE] INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE. Face-to-face mode

Addressed to: Qualified technicians who want to start providing the health and safety coordination service during the work execution phase of construction works.
Dates: May 12 (Monday) and May 14 (Wednesday)
Hours: From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Objective:
  • Become familiar with the applicable legal regulations.
  • Know the responsibilities of the health and safety coordinator during the construction phase.
  • Learn to identify and assess the main risks in construction work.
  • Analyze practical cases to apply the knowledge acquired in real work situations.
Programming:

Introduction to health and safety in construction

  • Course presentation and objectives. §Introduction to health and safety in construction: Basic concepts.
  • Role of the health and safety coordinator during the construction phase.
  • Responsibilities and relationships with other agents involved (developer, construction manager, contractors, workers).

Health and safety regulations and documentation

  • Review of applicable regulations: Law on Safety and Health at Work, RD 1627/1997...
  • Essential documentation: Health and safety study, Health and safety plan...
  • Security management through documentation.

Identification and assessment of risks in construction

  • Techniques for identifying and assessing risks in construction works.
  • Specific risks in construction work: working at height, excavations, handling of materials, use of machinery, etc.
  • Strategies to prevent accidents and injuries. Safety coordination during the execution of the work
  • Safety control and monitoring measures during the execution of the work.
  • Safety inspections.
  • Emergency planning and action protocols for occupational accidents.

Case study

  • Analysis of a practical case of a work in which the steps followed by the health and safety coordinator are detailed.
Applicable legislation and regulations:
  • Law 31/1995, of November 8, on Prevention of Occupational Risks.
  • Royal Decree 1627/1997, of 24 October, which establishes the minimum health and safety provisions in construction works.
  • Royal Decree 39/1997, of January 17, which approves the Regulation of Prevention Services.
  • Royal Decree 171/2004, of January 30, on the coordination of business activities
  • Law 32/2006 and RD 1109/2007 regulating subcontracting in the construction sector.
Documentation: The documentation will be available on the platform between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the training. If there is additional documentation once the training has ended, we will provide it to you later.

Cancellation of registrations:

Depending on the registrations made, the training action will be viable or not, for this reason it is important that you notify cancellations.

Cancellation must be communicated 48 hours before the start of the training via email formació@cetit.org, otherwise 100% of the amount of the training action will be invoiced.

Due to the fact of attending, these images will be kept and while the course is posted on the platform. Once the deadline for later viewing has passed, it will no longer be posted on the platform and the images will be deleted with appropriate security measures.
