The Comebe aims to recover the history and memory of the Battle of the Ebro, as well as the enhancement and management of the vestiges and memorial heritage that are linked to it. This heritage complex is made up of five Interpretation Centers, two Memorials and around twenty historical spaces where the battle took place. The spaces of the Battle of the Ebro are a tool to promote knowledge and dissemination of the events and spaces of the Civil War, a pioneering initiative of memory tourism in our country and a unique educational instrument to learn about the past, promote the culture of peace and democratic values in society.

If we want to travel back in time and delve into the memory of the Spanish Civil War, the Poble Vell of Corbera d'Ebre is a must-see. Located at the top of the Esquivadora hill, it is one of the most symbolic places of the Battle of the Ebre, the hardest and most decisive of the War. Between July 25 and November 16, 1938, after 115 intense days of conflict, life in Corbera d'Ebre changed. The old quarter of the town, located on the front line of the Republican front, was destroyed as a result of aerial bombardments and artillery from Franco's army. The town was abandoned and, over time, the residents moved to the lower part of the hill and built the Poble Nou. Now the Poble Vell is a space of memory, an open-air museum. It allows us to learn about the historical events and the devastating consequences of the war firsthand. In addition to the streets and their houses, we can also see the monuments to the International Brigades and the 'Permanent Flame', the sculpture 'La Bota', by Joan Brossa, and 'La Foradada'. What we cannot miss is the Abecedari de la Llibertat, a set of 28 works distributed around the town to claim the value of the word over force and violence, and the Església Vella de Sant Pere, a spectacular baroque building from the late 18th century that remained standing despite the battle. It has since been restored and now hosts artistic and cultural events. Since 1992 the Poble Vell de Corbera d'Ebre was declared a Cultural Site of National Interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya and constitutes a monument to Peace.

Cancellation must be communicated 48 hours before the start of the training via email formació@cetit.org, otherwise 100% of the amount of the training action will be invoiced.

In no case will the name of the Interested Party be published. The image is used legitimately by the legitimate interest of the College to promote these courses and their possible subsequent viewing by attendees.

Due to the fact of attending, these images will be kept and while the course is posted on the platform. Once the deadline for later viewing has passed, it will no longer be posted on the platform and the images will be deleted with appropriate security measures.
